Frequently asked questions
- No, Zelle is free to use within our Mobile Access app.
- Most major service providers are supported. You can also add custom payees.
- Domestic transfers typically take 1 business day; international may take 1–3 days.
- Debit cards pull money directly from your account; credit cards let you borrow up to a limit and pay later.

If you believe your card has been lost or stolen, review your transaction history to ensure all charges are accurate and authorized. If you notice any unfamiliar or suspicious activity, please contact ExpressBank immediately for assistance.
Also, log into Online Access or our mobile app to immediately lock your card.
- Log in, click on More and then Manage My Debit Cards.
- Select the card you need to lock and toggle the Unlocked switch to Locked.
- Read the pop-up that follows and confirm by tapping Lock.
Your card will be blocked from use until you turn it back on. We will email a confirmation of your card’s status.
You can also call ExpressBank at 800-583-0709 to temporarily lock your card.
- Mastercard contactless debit cards are very secure. They use encrypted, one-time codes for each transaction, keeping your card details protected. Plus, you’re backed by Mastercard’s Zero Fraud Liability2 and can set up real-time alerts to monitor activity.
Adding your Mastercard debit card to your digital wallet is easy.
- Log in to our mobile app, select More and then choose Manage My Debit Cards.
- Find the card you want to add to your digital wallet and tap Manage Card.
- Select Add to Digital Wallet.
- Choose your preferred wallet from the list of available options: Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
You can also add your card using the digital wallet app on your device. Follow the prompts to enter your card details, and you're ready to go.
- Digital wallet purchases are highly secure. They use encryption, biometric verification (like facial or fingerprint recognition), and tokenization to protect your card details. You’re also covered by Mastercard’s fraud protection, which refunds unauthorized charges when reported promptly. For added control, you can enable transaction alerts to monitor activity in real time.
- Our cards are supported by Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
Apple Wallet (iPhone)
- Open the Wallet app.
- Touch and hold the card you want to set as default.
- Drag it to the front of your card stack.
- Alternatively:
- Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay.
- Tap Default Card.
- Select the card you want to use as your default.
Google Wallet (Android)
- Open the Google Wallet app.
- Tap the card you want to set as default.
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) or "Set as default" option.
- Confirm your selection.
Samsung Wallet (Samsung Pay)
- Open Samsung Wallet (or Samsung Pay).
- Tap Menu (≡) > Payment cards.
- Select the card you want to make default.
- Tap Set as default card.
