
BOK Financial names new Colorado market CEO
DENVER, CO - BOK Financial has named Michael Katz as the new Colorado market CEO.
“Mike brings a rare combination of deep industry expertise and a collaborative leadership style,” said David Stratton, regional banking executive for BOK Financial. “He's the perfect leader to help BOK Financial serve the needs of our customers in Colorado and make a positive impact on the communities we serve.”
Katz joined BOK Financial in 2024 as senior advisor in Denver, where he concentrated on business development and internal talent development. He brings 35 years of financial services experience, including leadership roles in Corporate and Commercial Banking, Structured Finance, Credit Administration and Treasury Management. “BOK Financial is doing some remarkable things in Colorado and beyond,” said Katz. “I’m honored to be part of the BOKF story and excited to continue building our momentum.”
He is actively involved in the Denver community and currently serves on the Denver Metro Chamber Economic Development Board. He has previously served on several nonprofit boards and advisory councils, including United Way, Junior Achievement, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Colorado Concern and the Denver Leadership Foundation. His personal interests include golf, basketball, skiing, mountain biking and reading presidential biographies.
