'The food struggle is real’: Bank of Oklahoma volunteers Pack the Snacks for NW Classen
Oklahoma City, Okla— Over two hundred Bank of Oklahoma employees teamed up with Fields & Futures to ‘Pack the Snacks!’ for Northwest Classen High School student-athletes. Volunteers sorted and filled individually portioned bags with nutritious and energy filled snack packs, to help fill food voids between games, practices and other related school activities.

“This effort reflects who we are as an organization—deeply committed to our community and proud to give our time and energy to the students and families who make it stronger every day,” said Bank of Oklahoma market president Greg Wheeler. “This was an incredibly impactful experience for me and, I’m sure, for our employees.”
Northwest Classen Coach and school food pantry coordinator Peyton Jones commented, “The food struggle is real. Anything we can do, as a school and community, to help make sure our students get the nutrition and hydration they need, goes a long way toward providing the quality school and athletic experience all students deserve. We greatly appreciate BOK volunteers for their support!”

Additionally, Bank of Oklahoma presented $7,500 check to the school for their team meals fund.
